Silence is Betrayal

It's important to notice when these settings are used to preach something other than the virtues of supply-side economics, pre-emptive wars and homophobia. There was a time when the religious movement in this country was characterized more by Martin Luther King, Jr. than by James Dobson.

On the one hand, he's right. On the other hand, so was Al Gore, and Gore was right from the beginning. Why isn't anyone asking Gore about running? Seems there was a lot of talk about that when Inconvenient Truth came out, but now, not so much.

I think this would be the perfect time for a Gore run, when the whole country's regretting the Bush presidency. It would have a "what might have been" mystique to it.
