George Washington's Mojo

Having lied, invaded, occupied and vacationed away his honor in the eyes of about 70% of Americans, George W. Bush tried to borrow a little bit from George Washington yesterday.

That reminded me of this cartoon I published back in '06, when the Congressional leadership first tried (and failed) to use the nifty "cut and run" slogan to tar and feather those who opposed the ongoing occupation.

“My attitude is, if they’re still analyzing No. 1, 43 ought not to worry about it and just do what he thinks is right, and make the tough choices necessary.”

What a joke!! Dude, they are not analyzing George Washington! They are comparing you to HIM. W is an idiot all the way around. Instead of invoking other Presidents' methods, he needs to try some originality of his own. How about starting by listening to the American People? Hmmmm....

My God, what is that man drinking, and where can I get some? He's trying to say George Washington would've supported his invasion of Iraq. Has he ever heard of Washington's farewell remarks, where he warned against foreign adventurism?

George Washington would probably fight a revolution against a guy like George W. Bush.
