Candorville Nominated for the Glyph Award (again)

Candorville's been nominated for a Glyph Award. Awards are ridiculous popularity contests signifying nothing. Unless Candorville wins, in which case awards are proof of quality and merit. Here's the list of nominees, as reported by Editor & Publisher and The Comics Reporter:

"Best Comic Strip"
Candorville, Darrin Bell
The K Chronicles, Keith Knight
Templar, Arizona, Spike
(th)Ink, Keith Knight
Watch Your Head, Cory Thomas
Smart money's on an upset by Ziggy.

Hey, Darrin--if the award nomination means so little, why even mention it? :)
(Just a little logic at the right time...it won't happen again!)

Oh, And I have already finished "Backstabbing coworkers in the back for Dummies". Just to defend myself from the attackers, you understand.

On the more serious side: The last few strips (including the one with Dick Fink) have been great...far-fetched, but great timing with them.

This is one of those strips that will never die. There's too much material!

And one last little note: My manuscript is on its way to the publisher. I'm keeping my fingers crossed, and expecting my first rejection notice any day, now.

Cool. KN's cool an' all, and WYH ain't bad, but I really dig Candorville and hope it wins. God knows it deserves every accolade it gets. Thanks for the real straight talk, even when I disagree (which ain't much of the time).
