A Conservapedia Reality Check

Sometimes you just want a reality check. You call your Mom to make sure she still loves you, you taste a strawberry to make sure it's still as sweet as ever. You glance at your fingers and toes to make sure they're all still there. I guess that's why I just stopped by Conservapedia, the allegedly "fair and balanced" alternative to Wikipedia. Sure enough, there is still not a single mention of the words "Iran" or "Contra" on the Ronald Reagan page.

All is right with the world.

And I bet the page on Bill Clinton will have nothing besides the Lewinsky scandal and his impeachment.

They do mention the Lewinsky thing, Impeachment and the Paula Jones/perjury stuff.

This is a great site! I have spent hours clicking on their random button, laughing at their entries. :)

One of my favorite features of conservapedia is how they will have a one sentence article and provide references for it. lol

At first I thought that the site was a hoax from smartass liberals. I learned later on that it was for real, and that made it the more endearing. :
